Khas Haryana (Education Desk): Republic Day was celebrated with great pomp in Punjab yesterday. On 26 January, i.e. Republic Day, students of schools participate in programs. Due to this, holiday has been declared in schools on 27 January in many districts of Punjab. The districts in which holiday has been declared are as follows.

Jalandhar - Cabinet Minister Aman Arora has declared holiday in all government/private schools and colleges of Jalandhar.

Ludhiana - Ludhiana DC has declared holiday in all schools participating in the Republic Day celebrations.

Amritsar - Holiday has been declared in all schools participating in the Republic Day celebrations.

Tarn Taran - Deputy Commissioner of Tarn Taran has declared holiday in all schools.

Nawanshahr - Holiday has been declared in all schools of Nawanshahr.

Rupnagar - The chief guest who reached Rupnagar for the Republic Day celebrations has declared holiday in all schools.

Mohali - Holiday has been declared in all schools by the Deputy Commissioner in Mohali on 27 January.
Fazilka - Chief Guest who arrived in Fazilka for Republic Day celebrations has declared holiday in all government/private schools, colleges.

Ferozepur - Holiday has been declared in all schools in Ferozepur as well.

Abohar - SDM in Abohar has declared holiday in all government/private schools, colleges.

Moga - Holiday has been declared in Moga on 27th January.

Barnala - Holiday has been declared in all schools by Deputy Commissioner.

Mansa - Deputy Commissioner Mansa has declared holiday in all government/private schools, colleges.

Gurdaspur - Minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal has declared holiday in all schools.

Bathinda - Cabinet Minister of Punjab Government Hardeep Singh Mundian has declared holiday on 27th January, 2025 for those schools which have participated in Republic Day at school level, tehsil level or district level.

Patiala - Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann has today announced a holiday on Monday, January 27 for educational institutions (schools and colleges) participating in the Republic Day celebrations in Patiala.
